You guys should really adapt the UMX Carbon Cub's floats for this one too since they're the same size.
Video is done, we're waiting for the web guy to get it posted.

It's made for the CC floats. I'm surprised that's not shown in any of the photos. We'll get that fixed.

See attached photo: do you see the little white plastic piece there behind the charger? This is the rear float attach point. We've left it off the airplane for weight reasons but included it in the box. If you want to use the floats just glue it in place.

Nice!! This just became a must-have.

When you guys do a nice, scale-looking Cherokee in this size, I'll buy that too.

My guess is this is Horizon's answer to the new Parot?

That's freaking cool. I would love to fly FPV on floats...

Looks very interesting, I may have one in my fleet someday.....but.....is it possible to enable flaperons? That would make it a whole lot more appealing to me.

-Andres

P.S. Can't wait for the video!

Flaperons are not possible - but they are not needed. Due to the low wing loading this thing already slows to a crawl, and with AS3X, it really hangs in there.

Thanks, Dave! Video looks great!

I don't know if it was answered already or not, but does this have AS3X as well as SAFE? I've never seen a SAFE airplane without AS3X, but I don't see it stated anywhere.

Edit: Just answered it for me!

What a great game-changer, for noobs trying to learn on their own.

Can that RTF TX be combined with the wireless trainer feature of the DX6?

Great video, HH. This is exactly the plane my wife has been asking for. It's about the size of the Champ but has 4channels and isn't as hard to fly as the Carbon Cub. Having SAFE is a huge plus.

Can't wait to find out more about the FPV stuff. But I am guessing you guys are not quite ready to talk about it.

Thanks for the info Dave......Despite no flaperons I will still keep an eye on this one.

Must. Buy. Now.

I Saw it in the horizon email newsletter that I get. I have been looking for a 4 channel plane the size of the champ... Looking at Hobbyzone's site right now to see a release date.
