I've got one of these laying around - semi built. I've been toying with the idea of stuffing a micro fan into it with a himax 2025 and retracts... I can't wait to see how yours does.

I'll be watching this one!

I have one on 2xedf50's, and it is a fragile airframe - you will have to build it up to carry the 10x950 Kan's, methinks.

Jimmyray,

Put some spd 300's in the fans and get some real power for it.

I think this is the power plant for this jet. I always wanted to get one of these kits. When I finally had the cash to purchase one AERC was out of business. Maybe now that we have CD-Rom EDF micro motors, and lipos now, someone will pickup AERC ended. I would have loved to have gotten there F-22 and Saber also.

got one , never flown

Hi all , I have a built F4 and have never flown it only because of the fragile
air frame and the lack of light power options. It is a great kit to build and the finished jet has great lines to it, I had never seen one of these fly really well
so as a nooby jet pilot I didn't put mine in the air. The larger fans and some
bl / lipo power would probably be the "umph" this plane needs opposed to the slow sluggish flight I have seen in videos last spring when the kit was hot.No-one had really produced a responsive , agile or even fast model with the
set-ups available last year and if they did they did not share them with us here.

Good luck with the build , I will follow along to see how you make out

Aerc F-22

I had just started with this hobby back in November, and one of the first planes I looked forward to building was the AERC F-22. I was very disapointed that the company shut down. In my research, I found quite a few pictures of the F-22 build, I just wish I had a copy of the plans.

doesn't look hard to replicate... If you have the original dimensions.
