nevertheless it worked realy good (loops and turns included)

Acrobat10 chassis with
Eco8 rotorhead
and
Eco8 tailrotor

new on my heli:
the carbon fins,
the lightened paddels,
the camera

the landing-gear is from G10 i have colored black with a pen...
looks like carbon but is stronger (had 3 big crashs, never broke...)

Very cool! I've wondered how well these all digital video cameras would work. The quality is suprisingly good. Very little vibration too.

Very cool! Reminds of my "RappE Cam" (See pic below).

The digital cams like the PC101 I used on the RappE work awesome. With Gary Gs help (donation of a Tx and Rx for the video) I was able to use RappE Cam with a live video downlink to do some filming for the cable TV show "Scare Tactics" on SciFi. When the bit runs in a few weeks I'll be sure to let everyone know - wait til you see the 55 gallon drums worth of explosives they blew up while I was flying around in the pitch black night sky All I had were 2 glow sticks on the landing gear and 1 on the vertical fin. Almost lost the heli a few times! Good news is I didnt do it for free

Speaking of gyro stabilized - is there any way to do it with some small cams and mounts? After getting paid for my work on the TV show I thought it might not be a bad idea to convert the RappE to a permanent camera platform once my Ion X shows up. But it looks like I might need to get a mount like they use on the Voyager 50E cam ship here:

Still gotta get a good camera too - the Sony PC101 works very well but still sells for over $1,000. The longer I wait, the better and cheaper they get though Im hoping to start a small business filming special events, etc around Las Vegas - I could get some AWESOME footage of the strip!

if you built a servo controlled camera mount that could rotate in three axes (pan, tilt, roll), and used three heading hold gyros, you could make the camera stay pretty darn still. that's how they do it in the news choppers. would be a lot of work to make the camera mount correctly, but it's certainly possible.
