I've heard of this paper covering technique before though, it really seems to stiffen foam wings with little weight disadvantage.
I guess ol- I mean experienced people are often right.

But I would like to advise you to first try flying over 140 kph without stiffening your wing.
And to film it, of course.

The tip about document laminating film on EPP is a good one. Search here on RCG for 'New Stuff' to read about the different thicknesses and characteristics.

Also, I've read about using thinned out 'goop' glue painted on with a brush to imbue EPP with +20 damage resistance.

Good thanks gpw, yeah the fires were put out by the floods.. :P

i havent been on here in ages, but now getting back into it and have taken up 3d modelling rc planes. was just going through my threads and pinning which ones id like to model up..

hows things on the other side?
