The 2014 Joe Nall Podcast

Relive Joe Nall 2014 with the RCGroups podcast.

Splash

Joe Nall is the world's largest outdoor RC event!

We are back from Joe Nall. I took a copious amount of photos and Jason Cole shot lots of videos. As is my tradition I roamed Joe Nall doing interviews for the RCGroups podcast.

JN Overview (4 min 47 sec)

  • My buddy Colton Clarke introduced me to film director/actor and RC enthusiast Tyler Perry.
  • During an afternoon rain we sat under the RCGroups tent and talked to Bob Sadler.
  • Bob asked about Jim Bourke's new plane so I called JB to answer Bob's question.
  • I spoke to some RCG users and got their perspective on Joe Nall this year.
  • The noon time demos were spectacular.
  • We talked to Hobbyking about some of the cool things they were doing at the Nall.
  • Jason and I talked about the jet crash.
  • I hit the Hobbico tent and checked out the new Gunslinger.
  • Don Helms and I talked about RCG and about his Dad.
  • Kilroy96 talks about the podcast and says hey to his mother.
  • Frank Noll talks to us about this year's XFC.
  • Eagle Tree talks about the new Vector flight controller.
  • Tim King and I do our yearly golf cart discussion.
  • And much more!

Hit the download button and relive Joe Nall (podcast).

I went to this last year, and yes I have to agree
If the BMFA get their way with a planned midlands museum/ flying site then maybe its a possibility :-)

We did have the Large Model Association do displays at our gliding club (Rufforth), but now someone somehow got planning permission to build themselves a bloody great house next to our runway.
They won't come back again now. Saying it is too close to the airfield...

Nice video. And for once, some not annoying music. The flag at the end is a nice touch.

I would really enjoy a full weekend of flying for once instead of dragging all my gear out for one day and to have a full week of it would be heaven!!!

Let's hope WE don't. 90% of us will never fly there but will still have to pay for it all

Will we? They haven't even started the feasibility study yet so its a bit premature to make such a statement.
