Hey Chubb, thanks for the suggestion! Do you have a link where I can grab a photo and the specs?

if you can think of any FPV antenna that's missing please shout!
10 element yagis?

I have arrived at thinking yagi antennas may be the way to go because of 520p FPV cameras.
-It's not fun to fly high above the ground because the screen resolution is poor enough that you can't make out anything and you want to be right close to the ground
-If you fly in a flat environment the further you fly from your groundstation the more you keep getting forced to fly higher and higher off the ground to maintain signal. People say this is because of the Fresnel effect.
-the next logical step is to put the antennas up high instead of flying the airplane high
-my biquad and patch antennas don't seem to work very well floated up high from the ground.
-yagis allegedly work best elevated on a mast
-high gain yagis because why not. An 8 or 10 element yagi costs about the same as a 3 or 4 element yagi.

Sorry about the rant:
Here's a link to a 10 element yagi

OK guys, hear you loud and clear - I've already got a massive 16.5db yagi and will be adding the whole range of potentials!

PS, parajared - I use a crosshair which seems happy off the ground - really happy with it

Hey guys - just finished adding the antennas... a couple of yagis, pagoda, ion, axii, singularity, x-air, and x2-air. Thanks!

Love that you have ION already up but how about Clearview Vitennas Antennas

They also have a whip and a blade antenna

OK! Added. Also added the Clearview Vitenna patch and yagi (the whip is just a standard 3db whip).
You may need to force refresh on your browser (Ctrl+F5) to get the new data...

Please add monopole option for receiver, lots of small receivers have just that.

Also something seems off with the advanced tab.
I chose 2450Mhz / 100mW / 1dB tx / 1 dB rx / 0 adjust / -105dbm receiver sensibility (my FS-IA6B)

And it tells me ideal range is little more than 20Km, I doubt it.
