RC car repairs

So the hand controller disintegrated. There was a too much horizontal stress on the throttle controller for it to not have the reinforcing enclosure it used to have.

After much hot gluing, the new design used 23 year old tact buttons recycled from several previous projects. They were made unbelievably tough, in the old days.

Steering with the tact buttons is decent, as long as there's a tactile marker for the center. Those throttle buttons get quite painful & are hard to keep pressed. Probably going to have to spend money on new buttons. It takes a lot of repositioning to get the throttle buttons spaced just right.

So ran 8 miles with this configuration & the camera on the car. It did 8m30s downhill & 8m50s uphill, then died after 8 miles. Total car mileage is 61 miles. The 1st video of a lion running, with all the RC car software, was really stable & revealed a lot of nuances in the lion's form. The next step would be increasing the voltage to see a lion running at full speed. There's no other way to see the nuances.
