How do you convert an AVI file(from Pencam SD) to windows media file?

What program is used?

What resulution is selected on the conversion?

How do you mix-in sound to the Windows Media File?

Windows media encoder is a free download from Microsoft!
I use Studio 9 to mix music with it.
