Are you guys going to support your own boards with your own mission planner and or own binaries?
Looking at the current state of affairs with DIY boards you wil need to get your firmware from DIYdrones i geuss.

The "current state of affairs" means that you CAN'T get firmwares from DIYDrones because if you are following the whole parade they [the devs of the uploader blob for mission planner] are actively blocking uploads to any non-3DR boards.

Here is the link with the firmwares: http://firmware.diydrones.com/Copter/stable/
The firmwares have always bin here and will always be there.

Here you can find a fork of Mission Planner without the check.
https://github.com/KipK/MissionPlanner
http://mp.wedontneednasa.com/
Use it to upload your firmware to the board.

Have you read this btw? It's a better place to follow the "Parade" as you call it.

Official MP git has removed the blocking otp check yesterday.
https://github.com/diydrones/Mission...c2522cd3c0fffa

And added a way for manufacturers to add their own certificate. I support OTP this way, non blocking but able to certify some hardware are legit

Any updates on this? I also ran across the link on Thanksbuyer, but without the aluminum case it's not a very good product. How does the IMU daughterboard stay aligned?

Thanks for all your support and patient waiting, we now have updated pictures for reference, but still not finished items yet, need some more time for improvement and in perfect condition.
If everything goes smoothly, it will be on sale at the middle of June, thanks all again. hope you all fine and nice families.
Best regards
Fanny

beautiful piece of hardware!
It seem to be well made. I hope the final qualities will be the same.
Do you know if all will be compatible without changing the code?

I'm SO anxious to try this thing out. I hope the IMU damping works well and then I won't have to use external damping anymore. It would make mounting on a heli so much easier.

I do have some concern about the structure of the end connector panels. How fatigue-resistant will those be?

Hi there, thanks for your interest and concern about the pixhack, please do not worry about that, all the factors we can think of and worry about, we tried and made every efforts to do the best.

What about the identified missing electronic protections mentioned in post 11? Is it electronically as good as the original pixhawk?
What are the connectors type?
What is the impact of this metallic case on the compass?
