New Product

JP 70 mm EDF Unit

http://www.shop.rc-electric-jets.com...70-12-2700.htm

Unit is using an out-runner under the tail-cone. An out-runner with a tapered tail would be nice, or an in-runner.

The tapered tail would be protect it without something touch directly when you running up the out-runner motor ,also you can removed it away.but not suggest.
For in-runner it is using for heat skin.

This is a copy of the product, the front part copy EPF HOBBY Mercury EDF unit.
We also have the same patent in the United States.

How!!!!!! Tell me how!

It have a motor setup at the front part of Mercury EDF. The front part of Mercury EDF uses for motor. Is that right?

But the front part of JP EDF is not use for set up motor, but just keep the blade star in shroud.

I don't think it is a best way for you to to attack your competitor.

BTW! all the JP EDF are lase their own patent number.

I call a spade a spade but I'm not seeing that here.

This gets 2.5kg thrust on 22.2V and 75amps. It is competitive if not the leader with any other 70mm fan on the market. Unless you guys know of a more efficient way to get 2.5kg out a 70mm? feel free to enlighten us.

My only problem is the inflated rc electric jets shop pricing which is always 30-40% more than hobbyking..

Hello Mattmanraptor,

I spend all time to get the new upgrade at 70mm EDF,so not read this thread quite long time.

the ESC is 6S 100A from JP hobby with metal shroud.

Here is the new upgrade data of JP70mm EDF:

6S/96A/3.01kg

the gap between shroud and blades only have 0.25mm. Top upgrade at the gap.

rc electric jets shop is not same as hobbyking. most of shop has to buy the products from factory and pay shipping fee, tax, and a lot of incidental charges.
Personal opinion 30-40% more is acceptable but not 50-60% at all.
