Question

motor for bronco type 23

As others have pointed out, a direct drive 540 silver can would be to powerful on the Type 23, I was wondering if i could use one of these instead?

redboat,

i am using a himax 28mm outrunner that is 650kv (HC2812-0650) , with a Castle Creations sidewinder micro and a 2 cell lipo.

if you want to go brushed, I would use a graupner speed 400, with a 2.5:1 or 3:1 gearbox. you are looking for 5000 rpm at the prop.
