UMX Radian Unboxing, Maiden, and Review

Hey guys!

I finally got to put together an unboxing, maiden flight, and flight review video for the UMX Radian RC sailplane. I hope those of you that have not purchased this plane yet will benefit from this:

E-Flite UMX Radian BNF with AS3X Technology Unboxing, Maiden Flight, and Review (12 min 12 sec)

Here are my Unboxing, Maiden and Review Notes:

Cons:
- Fragile
- Not easily transportable like previous UMX planes
- Brushed motor

Pros
- Handles stiff and swirling winds pretty well
- Good slow speed handling
- Performs loops well
- Good flight times
- Fun

That looks nice! Seems to sail in the air nicely for its size.

It really does! It was calm tonight and just glided with amazing elegance.

Thanks for watching

i think that's part of the benefit of the construction you mention. the thin wings and fuse are going to make it glide elegantly. it being foam, anything that goes on with it will be easy to repair. i prefer that to it being thicker and not as graceful. (plus it's a glider that's so light, slow, and graceful, it won't be that easy to break.)

You make some good points cram. The only complaint I have is the that foam used is the cheap brittle stuff they used on the UM Stryker and not the kind they have used on their most recent models. That foam is also very light, but much more rugged.
