Sky-hero Spyder 700 Clone

http://www.rctimer.com/product_1099.html
RCtimer is offering a upgraded version of the sky-hero 700. I can say upgraded because after building (2) 700's and a 1000mm I can say that the things I would of changed or offered in the kit RCtimer has already made those changes. I am not sure about the canopy though because it looks like it's vacuum formed instead of fiberglass. I can honestly say that I wish I waited for these because I still can't see where the $600 is in the sky-hero.

the pics look like there is one mount half and one back half per arm. So the kit includes two mount halves per arm with no additional purchase required to turn to x8? Or, 4 more mout halves required to purchase to make x8? If required for purchase seperately, what is cost and availability of extra halves? When will frame set be available to ship?

Yeah i just saw some pics on there website and read the current specs, it is a X4 configuration and you can see the whole motor mount. I still think it is a way better price and also let's you build a cleaner layout with your electronics.

This seems like the wrong forum to discuss in detail but...

1240g for a 700mm quad?

That's a T960 worth of weight, and it's all plastic! Sure it looks awesome, but that weight is going eat a lot of flight time.

I wonder what the real one weighs? Could this one be G10? This is screaming for a gimbal nex on the front discovery Pro style running 6s and x8 config.

Yeah i should known better to try and pass along information that might save money to people who are looking for the sky-hero. It amazes me that some people just see the black and white instead of the purpose. I will be sure to ask from now on if it's OK to post a AD and make sure it's in the right fourm....

The reason this ad was here is because anybody interested in this hobby 99.9% of the time looks in the classifeds to see whats out there. and to see whats for sale. Your Honor i plead guilty to the crime of posting in the wrong section and accept full punishment from the classifed fourm police......I promise to Never commit this crime again......
