need a plane for a cox control line engine


i would like to get a plane for a cox control line engine from an appache control line plane. i would like to make it an rc plane. i think the rating on it is .049 but im not sure. Is this what 1/2A planes are or am i posting in the wrong area??

Yes you can fly an r/c plane with a cox .049 and a 2 channel radio.

Check out any of the Herr kits also the Ace kits such as the Grasshopper, or Whizard.

Yeah, my vot is for the Whizard! After some years out of production, TT finally recognised how good this model is. I have seen many built, and were very successful trainers. Some groups even went so far as to race them, because they are so cheap. Can't go wrong.

another one is the Sureflite 1/2 A Cub. This is an all foam plane that you cover with low heat covering like Econokote or Coverite "Black Baron" film.

I converted this plane to gas. I don't use the throttle much, but be sure you can keep up with it before you put a throttleless engine on it.
