Yeah this is for engine installs but just be careful with CA.

I don't get CA glue any where near servos as it tends to WICK in thru
the tiny parting lines of servo cases.
I installed a servo and later found it to be completely SIEZED up.

Hot melt works very nicely for servo installation.

Hey Lockey, thanks for coming up with such a cool plane! I'm building a 65%, 33" WS simpler version. I cheated a little more and enlarged the tail feathers a little more and added some length to the nose.

There's no access in the top of the fuse. I just left the bottom open. I'll cut the sides out, fit the wing and glue the sides back on. The bottom is open for the battery, ESC and receiver. I'll just mount the servos on the outside.

Planning to use a 2822 motor, 20 Amp ESC and 1300 mAh, 3 S battery. I'll be able to tangle with some Se5's and Sopwith Camels at the field this summer!

Thanks Lockey! It's maiden flight won't be until May. I'm a fair weather flier and we have a foot of snow on the ground now. Other than a few indoor flying sessions, it's building season for me!

Got some color on this one today. It weighs 8.4 oz without prop, ESC, receiver and landing gear. Should weigh about 10.5 oz when complete and about 14 oz with 1300 mAh/3S battery.

The 2822 motor puts out about 22 oz of thrust. This should be a very fun plane!

This one is ready to fly, but I won't be until it warms up in about 3 months.

It ended up 11.3 ounces (320 grams) without the battery which is 1300 mAh, 3S, 3.6 ounces (102 grams) for a total weight of 14.9 ounces (422 grams)

It's 65% of your original and 33.25" WS.

When I hold it straight up, it wants to hover a little over half throttle. Not scale, but it should be pretty acrobatic!
