@nigel ..for sure it has a pa, because without one, the listed range would be less. |

It will use the same blue CC2500 modules that you can easily get online. I have been flying with this setup and never had a problem. I do recommend dipole antennas though.. Range is more than enough for line of sight flying. I don't know about FPV as I don't do it.. Will have to be back to it and finish it, then will ask Midelic to post it on the first post. I have been busy with some other stuff but will get back to it soon. Joćo |

A quick Google and I found betaflight docs on the Fport
Seems like frsky eventually did what some sort us suggested a few years and combined telemtry and control, still inverted though of course so not all FC will work with it. Seems slightly odd though, because the reason frsky said they did not do this before was for safety, keeping control signals seperate from telemtry sensors so that if a telemtry sensor went faulty and jammed the signals up somehow, there would still be control.......guess safety is not so important now for some reason? I've had telemtry lock up on me in the past when using openxsensor and gps so it's a little concerning. Still we have a choice as to whether or not to use it. |

At this time. Sport is enough. I'm still using Frsky RX from banggood, from the first-page of this topic and the telemetry still working great just enable telemetry out and choose telemetry is frsky and i've got many thing from betaflight telemetry to my TX ( VFAS, Vcell, RPM, attitude,.... )

Well, I am not waiting.. I will build another one This time a better quality board. Just ordered it, let's hope there are no major mistakes
Will post some pictures when it arrives. Ahh, as you can see, a little thank you to the real developer of the DIY receiver.. Not Banggood like many might think.. It would be nice to see more people building it. Joćo |

Obviously this is not targeted at small multirotors, but at real models Joćo |

There is no better version so far as far as I know. The D8 receiver is fully developed. This is the REAL version of the protect, not the stuff that you buy at banggood.. Joćo |
