uOSD software for E-OSD+GPS / G-OSDII / Mini OSD with configurator

Hi guys!

I finished work on the firmware and configurator.
Configurator allows you to update firmware and reading \ writing OSD layout and settings.

Binaries (precompiled firmware, prerequisites, usetup, avrdude) located here.
Code is available at this link.

Many thanks to EurnyRC for the excellent instruction.

Any feedback welcome

Alex.

Wow, the configurator is really nice! Thank you for your work!

edit. Vertical speed would be a nice feature. I know that's not very accurate with GPS, but still.

Great work!!!

is it possible to compile it to work with all distros, because there is a lot of rc guys on linux (mainly ubuntu) and don't have support for other apps...

Can't wait to see what's other users reaction to uOSD ^^

Hi Alex, how are you getting a readout for current? Are you using a current sensor? I have not noticed this feature on other g-osd rewrites.

Thanks

Hi Alex, I've been quite happy with my G-OSD 3 Mini until now, but am blown away by the screenshots of your wonderful µOSD and the beauty of the Configuration program. I have just ordered the Mini OSD with GPS Module from HK (which went down to $22 after looking at it for 5+ mnts after I'd already ordered it) plus various breadboard wires and header sockets from fleabay.

I'm looking forward to all this stuff arriving, flashing your code onto the Mini OSD and being able to configure my own OSD display. Who knows, I may even end up coding again, along with breadboarding, two things I haven't done for a while .

Where can you download the EEP and HEX files for those of us that don't know how to compile the code?

Also has anyone come up with a better GPS that updates faster?

First post, looks at the "here" word...

My G-OSD is flashed since few hours and WOW is the first word which comes to mind.

Excellent firmware Alex.

More stable and clear than the (very nice) CL-OSD which I used before. And the setup application is a huge plus.

Will the speed and altitude be in metric and imperial? And is the altitude in MSL, AGL or select-able? Nice work makes me want go buy one, if the damn shipping wasen't so expensive.

@ BRSS

Thanks but I had already looked there. I'm looking for compiled EEP and HEX files to flash.

I don't find them where you indicated.

In the data directory you'll find the hex.
