I guess I missed the 6" interplane dimension, sorry.

Otto, are these the changes that you are suggesting ?

PS the motor positions and prop sizes were dated.

I can change them easily
Yes, but the top plate is tangent to the arch in the back and the back of the knee. Body side cut point for leg is 18 inches from the toe, forward of where shown. Before you draw the top plate line you need to bend the leg at the knee by 3-4 degrees CW so the top plate line stays on the body to the toe.

OK how about this version ?

The hinge point is moved forward for an 18" long lower leg Elevon.
The Knee was rotated 4 deg and I rounded off the lower leg and made the
rotating leg parts so that they always intersect when viewed from the side.
Foot and Calf parts are separated and tabbed to fit the Flat Foot part which is slotted.

See PDF for details and measurments.

Otto,
I'll be away tomorrow at the I Funeral I mentioned earlier.
Take your time and if there are more changes just print out the PDF and draw them
over the top and I'll get back to it on Monday.

We'll get there eventually :-)

No hurry at my end. The thigh shape is changed on the outside and inside. The blue body side is notched at the hinge line to allow the leg to move up and down without sloting the leg.

OK
I found enough time to finish up from Ottos last changes.

This is the Final and I am ready to cut parts.

This Parts Set has been added to my web page in Otto's section.

Enjoy the builds.

Elvis is in the hanger......

I decided to have some fun with my new Flyguy V3. I turned him into Elvis. Glasses, wig and scarf from Ebay and vinyl jacket from my local car wrapping shop. I changed the leg shape, removing a little muscle and added bell bottoms to complete the jumpsuit. His AUW was 46 oz before conversion and is now 54 oz. Will fly him tomorrow.

Elvis has left the hangar

Elvis flew today. I do need to get some music going.

I could feel the extra 8 oz and drag but he still can do everything he could do before the conversion. Inside and outside loops; rolls, slow rolls and point rolls are not a problem. Landings are a breeze with the wheels. Want to move the CG back a little which is something you don't often hear with respect to a flyguy. Now I need to get some good photos and video.
