Durafly 1500mm 'SkyMule'


Durafly and Staurt announced today a new soon to be released model.
The Durafly 1500mm wingspan 'SkyMule'.
Not many details announced yet, other than could be released between 4-8 weeks.

I love this, might kit bash it into a bristol freighter. I remember trying to track down a jamara islander kit but never found one. This will do nicely.

Ledzep The "Bristol" is a fair bit "fatter" than the Skymule..and....a tail dragger How do you intend to go about it..Im interested...I remember when I was a boy building the Airfix one with a Corgi Austin A40..lol

I agree a bristol would be a bit fatter around the front and the wing shape is all wrong but the engine cowls look right though.
Actually thinking about it the mule is more like a twin otter or percival pembroke.
Isn't it great the knowledge gained from building airfix kits.

HK had the release video up on their home page for a while (last night - my time) with a good overview (about 6 minutes long). They said it was 'available in all locations now - check out the new items page'. It isn't on the new items page and the video has now gone....

I don't think it will be far away.
