Hot .15 to R/C conversion

I used to fly control line F2D combat with .15 engines. I have since moved on to R/C - 3D and sailplanes. I have a Cyclon PC4 which is unused...

http://w1.815.telia.com/~u81504305/cyc15pc4.htm

Can I convert this using any off the shelf R/C throttle so I have some semblance of control over it? I wish to put in on a sport pylon racer. I think the largest prop it could turn is a 6x3... I am hoping for off the shelf components because I dont have access to a lathe or any precision equipment. What plane could I build that would be suitable...any website for plans of this nature?

Thanks

Shane

wild wiz 15, I had a MVVS 15 in it and a 6.5-6.5 to a 8-4 on it, well over 100mph.

If it's going in a pylon racer, why do you want a throttle? Either put in a fuel shutoff or a fixed clunk tank so you can cut the engine by flying inverted.

Small high power engines are unlikely to respond well to throttling anyway.

"...why do you want a throttle"

Its a whole new universe of speed for me in R/C. I've been flying slow electric 3D flyers, flying wings and sailplanes up till now. My fastest R/C plane has been a homebuilt sorta like a Wedgie so maybe 60mph in a dive...

Hmmm, think I'll shelve the pylon racer. Thanks for your help. I am rethinking this and maybe a pylon racer is too fast. A gas powered hotliner maybe a better entry to high speed.... fast climbout, activate engine cutoff and glide to a landing. But where to get a 6x3 folder that will withstand 30000rpm?
