I have been playing with the Estes Proto X micro Multi-Rotor. This thing is great for indoor flying but the sticks on the tiny 2.4 gig 4 channel transmitter are so short it is hard for an old fart like me to apply the shuttle control these things need to not crash into walls and furniture. I was talking with Jim Porter about these things and he mentioned a friend of his, David Kramer, had developed a module for the Proto X that goes into a JR 9303, something many of us have laying around (the newer 9503 won't work because it doesn't have replaceable modules, damn 2.4! (had to say that)). He made one for me and was wondering if anyone else wants one for $20.00. If you do, let me know. If you don't have a Proto X you don't know what you are missing. Get one, you won't be unhappy with the purchase. The thing is an amazing tiny bundle of technology that really works, it is not a toy! And get some extra props.
