Uses wltoys v2xx protocol
1st release with LGW58001RX7 pcb had a poor quality battery with a protection circuit that liked to fail as seen when the quad simply dies and requires switching off and back on, frequently occurs when given full throttle. Fix is to replace the battery.
It also had very loose fitted props that fell off at the lightest touch and are largely responsible for the quad consistently veering off in one direction and not responding to stick movement. The spare props in this case are a much tighter fit and fix the issue.
If you still have loose props you can try a number of things such as dental floss through the prop, although this doesn't work that well I've found.
You could also try a thin layer of super glue on the motor shaft but this may work a bit too well and leave you unable to remove the prop at all. Wood glue/pva in the prop hole is another way which works and is quick to do and not permanent.
Current pcb revision is LGW58001RX9, the included battery with this batch is now different and much more reliable it would appear.
The loose fitted props issue looks to have been addressed as well.
Both versions suffer from an issue with the resistor for the top right red LED having a bad trace causing that LED to have no power, apart from loosing 1 light it doesn't have any other effect so is just cosmetic and annoying, I wonder if we'll see a 3rd revision to fix this issue.
If your having issues with it drifting and your props are tight one thing you can try is recalibrating the gyros, you do this by putting it in 80% or 100% rates and then pull and hold both sticks full down and left until the LEDs flash then release the sticks and your done.
LGW58001RX7 top / LGW58001RX9 bottom
LGW58001RX7 unreliable battery 3.62g (top)
Replacement good battery bought separately 3.53g (middle)
LGW58001RX9 good battery 3.39g (bottom)
