How did this turn into an Embat thread?

Dereck, yours now belongs to a fellow clubmate, Guy, who got the same great deal you gave me. I have too many planes in the queue ;-)

The ES10 ARF is now available!!!

esport 10 wing

Guys,

I hope this isn't a dumb question...but does the wing come off this thing or is it one piece?

can't find this anywhere I have looked so far.

Has anyone received their E Sport 10 yet? I haven't heard for a week or so on progress.

Mine came in the mail this week, however I've not had time to do more than look at it and wish that I had more time. I'll try and get some pictures of it this weekend. It looks like very, very good quality all in all.

BK

PS. Anybody know how far back the CG is supposed to be on this plane?

The E10 looks like a great plane, and I like hearing the phrase 'overbuilt'! Must not get my credit card out of my wallet, must resist!

Kevin,

I've got the thrust line Rob built into it...not sure what that is. Sorry I can't be more help.

Hi Kevin,

The model that Eric has the motor thrustline is 0. That model will pull in a verticle climb so a little rudder is needed. I built in about 3/32 of right thrust into your model as I recall and I know that is the amount of right thrust I settled on in the final ES-10 design. There is no down thrust in the setup.

The CG is set on the spar. Move the CG back or forward to suit your particular flying style.

Rob

PS: Glad your hand is out of that cast.

I haven't done much more than take the pieces of my E-Sport 10 out of the box yet. What have others used for a hatch latch or hold-down? Also, steel wing and landing gear bolts seem a bit excessive, but they're metric, and I'm in the land of the free and the home of the archaic units. I know the local Ace hardware store has metric bolts and nylon bolts, think they'd have metric nylon bolts? If not, I'll probably just stick with the stock bolts rather than try to replace the tee-nuts, the ones for the wing would be kind of awkward to remove and replace.
