She does look good!!

Bottom mount midwing aileron servos/horn.......servos excellent but a bit pricey
http://www.servocity.com/html/hs-5035hd_servo.html (currently out of stock on the analogs at $25 each)

"4-6 channel receiver" = flaperon potential.....

Quality mandrel-wrapped tapered boom.......

Highly likely to be Mad-Stabable......

Pretty wing shape, especially at the tips.....

Michael and George done real good!!!

DLG Sloper

So, are we looking at 2 year delivery as with the Blejzyk stuff or will they really be available?? Should be great (for my purposes) without the dihedral!

Looks like preorders opening up shortly......guessing available mid-February??

Once they get into our hands it should be entertaining as well as educational watching builders attempt to "improve" the design to suit their individual conditions, tastes, concepts and prejudices. I predict this to become a verrry looong thread with a lot of stoked participants.

foam is fun, but glass is fast

Wow ken, lots of assumptions this kit is heavily flawed or in need of mods to make it a better flier. How about you design something and sell it for 120 buck with this much engineering???
I've never had a problem with any DF kit when used appropriately, don't see this one being any different.
As far as 25 bucks being expensive, you should put down the foam and try some composites where $60+ is what you have to spend to get the performance needed to optimize the design.

Who's really hoping to run into Michael and see this thing fly before they hit the masses

Yeh not cool....ken. The dream flight team have in my eye's produced the best , most well known , easy to use , easy to build slopers. Let alone amazing performance , with a fun factor through the roof. they have Been sloped on more hill's beaches , mountains , back yards etc than any other slopers.
DF crew put a huge amount of R&D in to products a product it at an alway's resonable price is amazing. And me for one look at these pic's and see a mountain of hours and cad work and a huge amount of $$$$$$$$.
I find it sad , that you are knocking it down even before it's had a chance. Picking at it to find the flaws.
It will fly perfect the way DF intended it to.
