TurboCad how to go from 2d to 3d?

How do you guys go from 2d to 3d.

I have dome some extrusions of things like ribs etc. and it is tedious to do each line. Is it possible to "assemble" into an object then extrude?

what is the best way to create 3d objects?

hey post any sexy 3d pictures too! I love to look at other peoples Cad work, really gets my juces flowing.

Help me start here. How do I import an airfoil shape into TurboCAD?

I can do it with IMSI's Design3d, but not with their TurboCad. Design3d has an import command, and one of the formats is XYZ. Simple.

Here's one of my own...can you guess what it is? Still working, but have the basic shape down....i might make this my avatar. Actually, this is for FMS, so it dosent have to look all that pretty. I really have no idea on how to go 3d from 2d, all the cad ive done is for FMS

Get a airfoil program like Compufoil or Profili to create your foil then just export to .DXF to get into TurboCAD. I just did this yesterday to make some plywood root ribs for a sailplane. I then used my CNC router to cut out the parts.
