This is really going to heat up the market. 200-250 class brushless quads are going through the same revolution that micro quads went through a year ago.
Sooooo many choices coming weekly............ |

Yeah, I agree. I did not see a reason to buy the 180QX and the 350Qx was a little too much dough. I am still flying the Mqx with a V2 #16 and I really love it. I hope the 200QX will be capable of carrying the GoPro. I must say though the RCLogger Xtreme is still very competitive for $130 (half price of the 200QX) as my summer buy.

Plus I really like the internal LED idea. Not as blinding as something like the Alias at night but still looks plenty visible. Anyone see if the $229 price is BNF or RTF? |

I like that it has a translucent body and it appears to fly just like the big one aerobatic wise. I have yet to see another FP quad that can flip in place like the 350qx can That is the one thing I really was unsure about with the xtreme, sure they have posted some acro videos but I havent seen anything close to as capable as what the 350 can do and how it handles aerobatics. Though Maybe the rclogger guys will post a full aerobatic w/full rates video soon ![]() |

Better price for brushless is what I like most. The 350 is pricey for a toy. Night flight and payload options are a bonus. I'm not impressed with the camera on the 180 either.
Blade/Horizon quad selection seems more like Samsung to me than Apple. Toss everything in every conceivable size/shape at the public and see what sells vs. perfect one and upgrade it every 12 months. ![]() Of course, that was Steve's Apple. Things have changed. |

Yeah. So much for buying an Alias. lol Though the Alias is really durable.
Well, if Blade was Samsung, then I hope it isn't running on Android. lol Yeah, no Jobs, no innovation. Apple is now a company that just changes the size, color, and updates along with the rest. |

I don't think so, its the nature of this hobby. Plus I would not recommend this to a complete beginner with no experience but I wouldn't think twice with the 180qx IMO. But for $229, brushless mini 350qx it seems priced nicely. I also like the parts being available everywhere and I would assume the street price would be less than the msrp (hopefully). Looks like a win by watching the demo.
