New Product
E-Flite Ultra Micro Radian
I came across it just now on the e-fliterc.com website while looking for new releases for the toy show in Nuremberg. It looks like it could be cool.
Info, specs and photos can be found here: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...#quickFeatures Mods, FAQs and other UMX Radian-related info E-Flite Ultra Micro Radian ** Mods ** thread Phil Alvirez's battery hatch mod photo and blog: https://static.rcgroups.net/forums/a...g?d=1397863840 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=161065 Need replacement wing screws? |

I've just seen this on Horizon Hobby's website.
Looks good! It's what we've been asking for on the UMX ASK-21 thread UMX Radian Tony |

Nice, i built nearly the same , the robbe arcus airy 780 plus v911rx at 55gramms auw and the robbe arcus airy 500 +v911 rx at 37 gramms auw..... I m still searching for cheap but light and efficient folding props....
If it has depron wings, they gonna break soon. I would love to know what gearbox ratio and prop it uses |

I'm not convinced that AS3X will be any good on a 3ch plane...
With all the roll coupling that R/E plane needs the gyros will go nuts!!! |

I can't wait! This should have been made a long time ago. The price is great too.

Good video
I'd quite like to get one of these and fly it on a gentle ridge (without the prop?) Tony |

No need. With the folding prop, just chuck it off a hill and slope away. That way if you want to fly powered, just throttle up! Matt Andren E-Flite/Parkzone/Hobbyzone Horizon Hobby |

Oh yes Matt, but I like a challenge!!
I slope soar my Radian Pro with a tiny battery from my Edge QQ to keep it light. I take the prop off so I can't be tempted to throttle up which could kill the battery in seconds... Tony |

Mattfly; When do you expect it to be available?

Did it work? One gusty day our club president commented on how precisely I was flying down the edge of the field. I held up the Tx with one hand and said, "Gyro." Like I said, I don't know what Horizon is doing but I know my single gyro got me a correct rudder response for both roll and yaw. Pete |

I also watched a rogallo wing hang glider crash for the same reason.(pilot full of adrenalin, hopping from leg to leg and feeling his ribs where he hit and bent one of the down tubes.) Pete |
