flight sim cable

hello everyone!!!
in case you didnt notice in the classified section ive started making FMS inteface cables for hitec/futaba radios to sell. im selling them for a fraction of retail value. im not looking to make a lot of money just want everyone to have as much fun with this free simulator as i am. by the way, if i had this setup before my first plane....i might still have my first plane..hahahaha.
take care.

Hi buckeyes,

It's good to hear your heart is in the right place

For those of us with electronics savvy, can you post a link to information on building our own cables?

Best Regards,
Bill

link to cable

yes gene is correct if you goto the fms page and view the manual or faq it has the directions. these cables are not too hard to make but they do require soldering and gathering some parts that radio shack doesnt carry so it takes time. by selling them already done basically im just saving people time. if you have any questions about the cable please email me clement.24@osu.edu

Yup!

I've made 1/2 a dozen, and I have had problems most of the time, even though I do this stuff fo a living.... If you don't know what you're doing, it's frustrating!

The price is right, support the poor college student!

Good Luck.

I bought the cable from Matt. It took only 3 days to get it. Mine was for a Futaba radio. It works as advertised -- Great! FMS is a good simulator with a lot of planes available. Installation was very easy and you don't have to keep inserting the cd when you want to fly (like Realflight G2 or the cd version of Cockpit Master!).

dude! You should shut that guy down!

Send him a note and give him a chance to take it down himself, otherwise have ebay blackball him.

my attempt

this is actually quite funny because he cannot change the auction once bidding has started so now this is what they will see and he will have to sell it for around 5.00. good luck making one for that cheap dude.

he copied the picture of my cable directly from my homepage so i changed the picture and html of my page......look what his ebay ad says now...hehehe.

his ebay ad....FUNNY.
