The Nano qx is great to start out and is exactly what i first bought. It flys beautifully indoors and the agility mode is perfect for manual mode practice when you go to larger quads. The best thing about it is that it is very crash resistant and repairable. It isn't super strong, but is hard to break because it is so light thus doesn't carry much energy in a crash. I probably crash mine like 5 times a day...
