Yup! Minus the wing extensions and its cheaper. Too bad it's not offered in a kit. I guess its worth a try for the price.

It is offered in a kit too at a ridiculous $91.01 (hover price)

However it does appear to be more than a little blatant as a rip-off of the RVJet and although the idea behind having a camera behind the dome is great it doesn't take long to realise that there is no way to get clean and clear HD video that way, the domes on this and the RVJet are far from optically perfect and they create reflections that spoil the video

If it was used with a high quality board cam that's fine but to get quality HD it's just not great, shame as I said the concept is great

Altough based on similar premises as the RV Jet, it is hard to label it as a rip off.

The simple fact that it has what appears to be double the wing sweep is enough to instantly know they at least had to work to get this to fly nice. So yes, it may be based on similar design goals, but as far as aerodynamic design goes, it is vastly different.

On another note, many companies are seeing the benefit of foreward facing domes. Just because this wing has a foreward facing dome, does not mean it is a rip off... That's like saying Airbus copies Boeing because they both look like airliners, with similar dimensions and wing sweep....

AR cold coat the inside of the dome. It's probably possible to move the pan tilt forward. I don't mind getting airframe, props reflections etc. when I FPV (all part of the experience) but I'm not doing it for crisp HD video either.

This one actually interests me. Might even drag me back from the multi dark side.

I was considering this but then realized - where am I going to buy spare PnT parts from? I just borked a tiny piece off my RVJet PnT and ordered the outer housing for $10. HK doesnt carry spares except for their Durafly planes.

Why is that price ridiculous? Remove dome and fly with it off if you dont like it.

Find the actual manufacturer in China and ask them. Ive found others quite willing to supply parts if you ask nicely.
