Source for Hi Start rubber


I have emailed NSP and Icare requesting if they had hi start rubber, but no one has answered yet.

I am looking for one that works with F3-like gliders.

4,8 mm ID/11,2 mm OD and 16kg pull at 500% elongation (similar to the German EMC Vega Super rubber).

Who could supply in the US

Black, mandrel formed rubber tubing stores the most energy for the least line tension and also lasts the longest. it is a little more expensive but a much better value. See:

Agree with the above posts. Mark has good customer support too.

Great service


As instructed, I called Mark and I did place an order not for one, but for two Hi Starts.

I haven't received them yet, but if they are like Mark's customer support I don't have anything to worry about.

Thanks for pointing me in his direction.
