3/32" Heat Shrink Mod on my Hummer

Don't know if any one ever thougt about this or posted but................

I got tired of loosing the little fuel tubing that holds the battery pack and landing gear in place on my hummer. What I did was take a piece of black 3/32" heat shrink tubing about an 1/8" long and shrunk it on the ends of the rod behind the little fuel tubing. Seems to work keeps the fuel tubing from slipping off and loosing the fuel tubing.

great idea and I wish I thought of it (or at least seen it) before I lost most of those $%^& tubing pieces and glued my frame together! Good thing to know for the next one though!

Wasn't the cost of the fuel tubing just got tired of it always coming off and slipping. The heat shrink stops it from doing both.

Ya,

I feel ya,

I ended up putting some zip ties behind my tubing. It isn't pretty, but considering what my bird has been through, it could look worse.....
