Check with Rob Schaffer

He had a ready to fly 2 meter ship for sale a few days ago here on the e zone. I bought his Wind Dancer sailplane a few months ago and it was well packaged and it flies great. He lives in PA too, so you guys could probably meet to make a deal. His thread is currently on page 7 of the For Sale Forum here on the e zone. Good luck. Tom

Snow Bird PA-FL :

I am sure we can work something out. Trouble with shipping is, the cost for something of that size. It will run in the neiborhood of $18 for boxes/packing material, and about $15 for shipping to your area. The box has to be made up from a bike box due to the length of the wing,... that's why it's expensive. Email me at psuae02roberts@yahoo.com or PM me, and we can try to work something out. I can send you additional photos as well.

Tom,... thanks for the comments. Glad you like the Wind Dancer !

Tom, I have a Olympic ll 100 in glider I can let you have for $ 65 and deliver to you at or near the Ohio state line. That way we could split the driving to about 50 miles apiece

I have used this glider with a couple different electric set ups and it has two detacheable noses, the wing is two piece joined in the middle with a 1/4 in steel rod. The tail feathers are removable for easy transport

If you are interested, PM or e-mail me, I can take pictures

I have an older glider with about a 6 ft span. It had a speed 500 with gearing and about a 12 folding prop. I am from Port Richey and if you ever get up here you can have it! Wing is in great shape and the fuse needs minor repairs. hydguy1@aol.com
