Awsome!

It's incredible to watch my Dumb project become a serious thing! :P

I've asked myself about those little triangles you've made every where...before to realize...TEETH!

I've drawn them different one from each other to copy Taurus Shark one's

I don't know on your plan but, on my shark, elevons are enlarged. They have 3 cm more on chord at LE from root to tip. (watch photos on post 2)

I think, I will maybe enlarge wings to...what do you think about it? Enough H surface or not??

P.S.: I've started a paint scheme

It looks like you'll have enough area, as is, to keep it in the air. If we've learned anything from all the remarkable flying machines that we've seen on this forum, it's that virtually anything will fly if it's light enough and has sufficient power.

Sure, but I don't want it to be a missile...I would like it to fly quite slowly when approaching the prey and then jump on it!

Nice paint effort.

Yes those Hstab parts DO look a bit smallish !

Wings could be larger too but as you see I have very little wiggle room on the sheeting layout.

Areas are shown as I currently have them

With battery placed Low we might get some pendulum effect for UPRIGHT stability.

This may take some trial and error to get it right.

If you have any experience with those big EU gliders then you know that they have
very Elevators and stabs.

Also Your design does "tunnel" the prop wash down the fuse so we might get some
Thrust vectoring assistance.

I have checked the latest Photo of your Hstab
and then made some enlargements to the drawings.

This is your idea so if you want the DXF for your CAD so you can
add your "touches" and Ideas I can send them to you ASAP.

But I also want you to go out and TOSS the one you have for some flight experience and Vids :-)

You are like a Daddy to me Bob!

I've not worked on CAD for too long so I LOVE when you make it for me

I'm gonna draw you a sketch of up and down head when I will have hands out of paint :P

That sketch sounds like a good idea.

Do you have any TALL weeds left in the fields this winter ?
I ask so you might do some glide or short power tests without incurring damages.

I am a little worried about landing damages.
Otto's FlyGuys have this problem.
All I ever got from Otto were sketches and Cutouts.
That is how I got involved with his FlyGuys.

With enough power one might be able to Catch it from 3D.
AKA Pitch up and catch on the bottom,
Or if it is slow enough it might do a low impact PLOP !

Maybe a little 6mm depron doubling up the Lower mouth.

Also have you stiffened the wing/fins at all ?

It's hard to tell dark lines form dark colored CF in the Pix.

I have none a single ounce of CF in the Shark...only armed tape here and there...

I've got the same worries about landing...I also was thinking about make it stall from so low that it can't damage. 6mm Depron sheet is a good idea. I'm gonna build it as a 2 cm large Ski under the body from Half the under mouth to the Kinda tooth under the body. I'll send you a photo before I glue it.

Francois,
i use with good success iron-on edge protection strips, which are sold in diy-stores. they are intended to be hotglued to the edges of raw wooden furniture. Those strips are white, but can be painted. They are cheap and can be hotglued with your iron directly to depron. They give incredible strength at an acceptable weight penalty. Most undersides of my depron creations are protected that way.
Have fun

Bob, Here are Sketches and Ski

Have you seen the Big rudder servo in middle body part (Wing one)? it's a standard Graupner C577.
