New RC Plane Video FTP Server
Hello Guys, I just set up a server for us to store our RC Plane vids on. Right now there's about 3 gigs of plane videos up. Feel free to view or upload your own. Let me know if you have any trouble getting in. No limit on downloads or uploads. Have fun
user: rcvids pass: rcvids ftp://rcvids@192.168.1.100/ PS. Also making one for FMS Models PS. I know it's messy, I'm in the process of renaming them & adding directories. |

It's kind of difficult retrieving information from a "Black Hole"
Routers, etc. that assign addresses dynamically use the address you mentioned (192.168) for internal networks because internet routers are programmed to not route that IP address range. You need to configure your cable router to allow FTP access to your PC. This is typically done with a web browser pointed to 192.168.1.1 but the address may be different depending on the router you are using. Also be aware that the upload speed from your PC to the network is usually much slower that your download speeds. If you have cable modem you are sharing that upload bandwidth with your whole neighborhood and could cause slowdowns for your neighbors. |

misawa,
You're intentions are good. Just need a delivery method. IMO, hanging r/c videos on a peer-peer network like bittorrent would be a neat idea. All you'd ever like to know about bit torrent And a decent site to hang the file links pm me if you want more info. |
