e-fest


1st to post, money sent, name on pilot registration, hotel reservations made. 5th year in a row as a pilot. wooooo-hoooooo. can't wait as it should be a great time.

Unfortunately, it looks like I graduated from Illinois a few decades early. This would have been a lot of fun to attend.

Moved to Seattle this past fall and I have to say I am going to truely miss attending this event. The previous 3 years were awesome. Wish they had something similar out this way!

Yes.. helis are still 130mm blade lenght (I know.. RATS!)..

Hum.. I dont know.. I suspect 500 sizes quads will not be allowed but Im not sure. Lets see if we can get Frank to chime in!

I got new from the man himself.. Mini and Micro Quads only.. It’s all about keeping the unknowing crowd safe.

Hello Gentlemen. I am a relatively skilled flier and this is the first year I plan on flying at this event (I've attended many years as a spectator....this event is FUN just to watch from the bleachers...even my wife enjoys it!). It seems like "table space" is a premium! Any advice for a first time flier at this event?

get to the event early so you can stake out a table. don't quote me but you "may" be able to get in the day before to set up.

OK cool……Thanks for the info 325FGP! I was planning on getting there as early as possible on Saturday morning to hopefully get a spot. Is Friday night a possibility?
