I want the X5 because of its size, payload capability and the white body shell. And because its cheap available.

I want to use a beta/cleanflight PCB to install 32 adressable LED's inside the body shell! 8 LED's in each arm.

I want to have a really blinky, colorful drone.

Like this one!

Not lately. Plastic bushings in all mine.
How much can your X5 lift. Mine has a hard time when I added the FPV kit. It killed flight time. Check out the Hubsan H109 I find them on EBay they say best offer I offer $30. And I get them

Thanks for the hint John!

I have asked for the bearings because the motor mounts from the WLtoys V222 are with metal bearings. But they are much more expensive. About $29 for 4 motor mounts. I want to have a quad similar the mQx or the V222/V212. I wand to experiment with the beecore FCB and the silverlight firmware. Just for fun!

The H109 is by far the better quad, of course! Cheapest one I can find is for $130 on German eBay!

These are the search results on eBay Germany!

Anyways, I am not interested in the H109 at the moment. Maybe in the future, but then I guess I will go for the Fimi A3 with the DIY port!

I found one on amazon for $37 after shipping. Ordered it two days ago and its out for delivery today. 😀

I don’t think I really have any need for it but at that insane price I couldn’t pass it up. It would really make my day if it has acro but if not I’ll live. Looks like it’s basically a stripped out H501 which is fine by me since all I’ll use it for is FPV.

Except for the missing gold canopy looks and feels like the 501A ... I like the idea of being able to use its controller to operate all my 8 different HUSBAN quads.. Unbelievable when you bind to a tinny one. I might seek the quads with the 501E controller. And keep the controller.

John:
I noticed the H109 also and the price on bidding. Does yours have the Headless option. Saw one review on YouTube that said it was lacking and another that said it had it. I'm a old klutz and need it sometimes to get out of trouble, bad eyesight and old age!!! They are a bargain though might try to get one just for grinns....... Thanks ahead.

There are no bearings, thats why I havent bought one! The V222/V959/V929 series from WLtoys had bearings at the motor mount. With 600mah nanotechs there have been flight times around 12 to 15 min. Usual silicone spray from a car parts store helped also to reduce friction!

Plus the frame, if minimized, was pretty light!

i always oil the motors before use. direct drive is better. my dm003 can carry an 808 camera. big thrust works.
