How many FPS for best result with HB3?

I'm flying a 350QX with a new Hero Black. I have done some tests in bright sunlight just hovering around etc. I've noticed that at 48FPS and HD, that the I rarely get that smooth stable-looking shot. Granted I have some wind here but wondering if I am shooting at too high a frame rate.

I'm new to the aerial photog arena but have been flying scale helis for 12 years. Thanks!

higher higher higher! higher the fps the better , . my opinion. specially in bright sunlight. will look smoother in dimmer light.
but. if you get things really smooth you can lower and go with higher resolution.

What he said.

Higher frame rates will give you smoother, more jello-free shots. Only if you get your quad well balanced or the camera well isolated do you drop the frame rate and increase the resolution.

Note that higher frame rates require better lighting for best results.

correct , higher fps better lighting , but. it actually does good for it being brighter and the "shutter"(rolling shutter) of these little pocket cams as it doesnt overexpose the footage as much.Gotta remember how the camera works , and how it collects pixels.
