I'll pass...I guess I am still holding a bit of a grudge that the 60cc Corsair was not designed for electric

Here's a photo of the man on the wing of a Spitfire. I have no idea which Spit this is. The cannon appears to be positioned differently than other Spits.

Anyway, it is a cool photo.

The narrow front gear on the Spit makes me wonder how challenging a crosswind takeoff/landing would be... I see they have a gyro listed as optional equipment... Anyone with experience using a gyro on a narrow gear plane?

Alot of people use them on Messerschmitt 109's with great success. Both have narrow front gear and 109's are probably the most challenging warbird to take off and land there are. Check out some 109 forums they list the setups and equipment they used.

I'm in. Looks like a fun project to add some scale cockpit details. Also, the tail wheel looks like an opportunity to upgrade.

I am glad Hangar 9 is offering an electric friendly giant scale. 1/5 scale warbird is a great size.

What is the expected date?

Gyros are for helis if you cant take a plane off with out it you need to go back to Piper Cub school . If you were to enter into a scale contest you would be screwed cause they dont allow gyros. These planes teach you to be a real pilot
