I emailed Sig yesterday and was quoted $286.79, which is substantially cheaper than Hangar 9's new P47 razorback. The most important thing I noticed is the weight, they advertised the weight at 9.5lbs where as my H9 model is almost 13lbs. I had the FMS 1700mm 4 blade scale prop setup on my H9 P47 and wasnt impressed with it because of the weight so I took it off and went with a DLE 20. Now if this P47 does come in at 10lbs or under then the FMS setup would be perfect and I would do it in a heartbeat to run that scale 4 blade prop. If so I may be selling my H9 model and getting this one. I like the Snafu scheme better anyways. |

I did... i originally had the FMS 1700mm scale 4-blade prop and motor setup in my H9 bird but with the weight of around 13lbs it was just to heavy for it so I went gas. If i go with this seagull plane and the weight is correct and under 10lbs, then im going electric with the FMS setup.

I have the Hangar 9 P-47 also.Mine is still in the box though. I took it out to check the wing alignment issues others have had. Guess what, mine has the misalignment issue too! It didn't seem as bad as others have posted, possibly a little TLC, we'll see. It went back in the box for now until I call Horizon to see what they will do, unfortunately I have had it for awhile. I really liked the look of the Seagull P-47 and placed it on back order. I have had several of their ARF's, all of them good quality in my opinion.
