5.8ghz rx and tx batteries?

I have decided to get a 5.8ghz 25mw video transmitter (http://www.immersionrc.com/product-d...fpv_product=11 )
and a 5.8ghz video receiver (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...er_Cables.html) for FPV.

What type of batteries will work best for the transmitter and reicever? I am wondering because I do not want to take any chances on messing up the tx and rx.
Any information would be appreciated.

Also I am going to use a small sony camera (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...era_NTSC_.html),
circular polarized antennas (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...a_Set_SMA.html),
and am just going to use an easycap to see the video through my laptop.

Thanks

Don't mix the Immersion VTX with Boscam receiver. It won't work good. Picture will be very distorted. The antennas' you want also are for RP-SMA and don't work on Immersion VTX's.

Immersion VTX's use the black colored spironet antannas (SMA).

Boscam VTX's use the gray colored spironet antannas (RP-SMA).

If you want Boscam VTX's, the TS352 and TS353 are favorites. The TS832 seems to be over rated on the output power, so avoid it for now. The RC832 receiver seems to just as good as the old RC305.

The 600mW immersion VTX is excellent mated to the Uno receiver with the Nexwave RF receiver chip.

The product description should tell you what type of batteries can be used with each different vtx.

So if I used the Uno reciever with a 600mw or 25mw immersion Tx would the battery be the same for both transmitters or do different power inputs of the frequency require different batteries?

You can use any 3S or 4S lipo. Most run it off the same battery that's powering the multi-rotor or plane. The 600mW will take a little more current so you'll get a couple seconds less flight time. I'd skip the 25mW and go 600mW.

I use a seperate 950 mah 2s to power the 600mw immersion transmitter, HK Osd and RMRC 420 line camera, gives me a solid 45+ minutes of clean video
