I just received this from a sale.
After putting the ME-109 together I found a piece of metal on the bottom of the box.
White plastic having "5 Fe" written on it on one side, and the other side is metal.
Its not a magnet. I cant weigh it but it could be 5 gram.
There is no mention of it in my (French...) manual that I can find.
The other plane in the box (P-51) has no such piece.

Does it belong somewhere on my plane or is it perhaps for balancing?
Puzzled.

Thanks

The brand new airframe comes with a factory installed 5g weight in the nose. Some forum members like to use bigger batteries or have more dense foam and remove the weight.

Had to replace the pinion and tail boom motor on my Solo Pro 126. Then I noticed a stripped servo. Luckily I could salvage one from an old power core. The servo on the back of the power core has exactly the same dimensions and cable length.

Anyone have any experience adapting the wiring on an Eflite 2S to these aircores? I would think it is doable just not sure which 2 wires to use from the Eflite.

I assume you're talking about using E-Flite 2S lipos with the stock Powercore ESC connector?

Order one of these and you're good to go.

Hi guys I enjoyed going through this thread. A few years ago I was flying the Air Core Series, had them ALL and then kept loosing props, servos failing and the like. My main compliant WAS that the ele tonics were easily damaged as a result from the entire Power Core parting company with the air frame. Well I had some wonderful.times with mine and sure was disappointed with just how ALL the R/C manufacturer's dis continue things, I have been actively flying UMX micros for several years now and surprise ,surprise, surprise!!! the folks at Horizon dis continue their stuff too and MUCH too often for my liking.
