Zeta XF-79 Flying Wing - RC Groups

Zeta XF-79 Flying Wing

Zeta XF-79

Zeta Science's Buffalo is another great option for FPV flying wings.

The XF-79 "Buffalo" is a larger version of the XF-61. With a massive 79" wingspan (2000mm), the Buffalo is capable of hauling up those large LiPo's for extended duration FPV and autonomous missions. The XF-79 features a large internal bay for electronics placement, a pre-cut spot in the nose for an FPV camera, and 4 control surfaces (for setting up crow/butterfly flaps easily). Unfortunately, Zeta's website doesn't have the Buffalo up yet, but its currently available form a number of vendors, including fpvstyle.com.

Heres a quick build thread from wabu66, showing some of the details, video, and flight report of the XF-79 Buffalo

  • Length: 33.8in(860mm)
  • Wing span: 79in (2000mm)

  • Servos: 2x12g metal servo
