Check out this vid from Kermit Weeks. My very first question, upon seeing this a/c fly was "Are these max Velocity passes?". Turns out they were pretty close. HAS to effect how we feel about period WWI aircraft performance! Obviously, what was considered "high speed" 1914-18, was not like we might, today.

Note too. how the aircraft flies on engine torque, swinging a large diameter prop and much lower RPM, rather than more modern types, with higher RPM prop/engines.

I was surprised by the visible wing flex, noticeable in moments before taxiing away. I'm thinking the the aircraft appears to be more "solid" than it is. Also note the translucent nature of the printed camou fabric!!

Lot's to be gleaned from Kermit's explanations of tail skid ground handling and taxi experiences. Worth seeing to the end!
