NEW!! EPP Foam Glue

New From Bob Smith

"Foam-Cure" a silicon based clear, flexible adhesive. Will bond any porous surface and is good for use on foam, especially the EPP types. Foam-Cure stays flexable when it is cured, but does NOT cure well when bonding two non-porous surfaces.

1 ounce $2.25
4 ounce $3.40

Orders shipped USPS Priority for a flat $ 6.00 per order

I've used the exact same glue (but from HK). It is very nice glue, works flawlessly with EPP.

Excellent product and lower cost alternative to Foam Tac. Works great on Extruded Polystyrene as well, a.k.a. Model Plane Foam.

I use it for epp, depron, cellfoam 88, and all other foams. It is better than foam tac for me because foam tac tends to thicken over time making it very hard to apply with any control. I would buy some but my LHS is now stocking it.

Reviews read as another contact cement - clear, reasonable performance and less expensive.

My question is is it as caustic in terms of aromatics as foam tac? I find UHU and Welders to be a bit less so ... I see silicone based and think maybe better ... That would be appreciated!! Particularly this time of year where a well ventilated area is COLD :-)

Thanks!!

You can smell it, but it is non-offensive smell with no sign of solvents

For me its a simple comparison,
UHU smells bad, and I can find the BSI foam glue locally.

Honestly I have never made glue hinges. I have however spread a thin layer if this glue along the joint, then use blendurm for the hinge once it has cured.

I just put a few drops along the hinge, set the desired hinge gap, and scrape along the hinge with an old gift card. Hasn't failed me yet.
