New Sticky in Beginner Training Area

I think there should be a sticky in the Beginner Training Area where newbie's such as myself, can decide what first radio would be best for them. I didn't know wether to post this in New forums, Beginner Training Area, or here, so I did what I thought was best, hope this gets some mod attention.

This is the place, and it's a good idea. Have you seen an existing thread that would serve as a good start?

Just finished looking through the beginer training area. There are no existing threads suited to what I was thinking of. Over the weekend I will read as many of the Radio PdF's as I can. From there I will write a compilation of all the basic features of all the radios in a newbies price range. I will need help finding all of them, and maybe even some one could help with the write up.

Off to work on this project I go.

I have a run down of the functions of all the non computer Hitec radios including a basic price guide. Will do hitec computer radios and start on futaba Tx's.

Accually mark I posted a request for some manuals there already. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...hreadid=204747 See, I do, do my homework, and know where to post that type of request.

One slightly major set back, The file is damaged and I didn't have it backed up. With luck it can be fixed, but if no then it will set me back by the whole weekend, but I didn't get that much work done today due to spring cleaning anyway.

Edit: Okay, I have it back and nothing was lost, back to work.

Work is going slower than expected, my not be ready for proof reading an editing until monday. Have all Hitec's in newbie price range (AKA, no Eclips 7.) and I have the GWS Dream Starter, and finally the Futaba 4yf and 6EXA. Boy are thos JR manuals boringh and long.

By the way, waht am I suposed to do with this once I am done?

Good job. I suggest you post what you have to the Beginners forum and let us know about it. I'm sure one of the mods or admins will be able to sticky it for you and plenty of other people will be willing to add their own opinions to it .

No, I think I am just going to finish this, have Plane Stupid read it over for mistake and misinfromation than post it in BTA after PM'ing either Andy or one of the mods there, who ever is online at the time.
