why does my heli pull so hard right?
Every time I try lifting off, my heli will get light in the skids.. then pull hard to the right, and fi I try increasing power, it will pull all the way to the floor. Never acually lifting off from the ground..

It's better if you pop it off the floor then it is to slowly increase the throttle. If you slowly increase the throttle it's going to keel over like a wounded duck. When it pulls to the right are you standing in front of the heli with the nose pointing at you or are you standing behind it looking at the tail rotor ? |

Look at the tail and fly by the nose.

thnak you both very much.... I am trying to fly in that direction... i still pull to the laft.. guess it's something i will need to learn how to handel... but for the life of me I just cant seem to get it above 6 inches with out being tossed to thew side, and either having ti stop not to fall over.. or simply falling over...

Try this as you throttle up slow move the roll on your stick to the left and right then back to center so the blades can track straight give it some more throttle and watch the landing skids. If the right skid starts to lift, which it should give it some right roll. Once its level give it some more throttle so the heli pops up in the air.
If it keels over check your paddles make sure they are straight and check the flybar length. The Length should be the same on both sides. Also you may want to check the servos and make sure they are re-centering right. I had a servo that when I put left or right roll into it, the servo would glitch causing it not to return to the center position all of the time. |

When you try lifting off slowly with a FP micro heli, it may get light on the skids and even lift in ground effect before the head speed is high enough for good control. It may take full right cyclic to compensate, and the response will be very sluggish. You have to compensate before the heli starts tilting. After it starts tiping, adding power will just cause it to tip more. For learning, it may be better to apply a lot more power at the start, and climb rapidly to 2 or 3 feet. After you learn to hover, then you can go back and learn to do a slow smooth takeoff. I started off with Radd's, and learned a lot by sliding around the floor, but had the same problems you are having in trying to take off slowly. I started hopping up to about 3 ft, holding it as long as I could and then landing quickly when I got in trouble.
