I will run a Turnigy 2836 1100kv with 5000mAh 3S on it.

Based on calc, it says about 0.74:1 thrust plus about 47min flight time at 46mph.. not bad.

I just did a maiden flight using a 5000 3S on a 1500kv motor. Only had a 7x5" prop handy but still got an easy 20 min flight with plenty of varied throttle. This is a FUN plane! It flies more like a wing, on rails and turns and loops so quick. It was a bit gusty but it didn't seem to get thrown around much. Only issue I can foresee is how fast it glides in for landing so you need plenty of space unlike the Bixler. It did glide pretty nice once I moved the cg back behind the main spar - the cg stickers on the spar were wrong. I'll probably move cg back a bit further yet. And I also had to enable the esc brake for better glide, though leaving the prop spinning might be one way of slowing the bird down for landing.

I took some ground footage so will post some up when I get time.
