I am very excited to see this model is electric friendly. I am guessing that a Power 110 on 8S would do fine for LG with ballast needed. Then the Power 160 on 10S will be a good choice for floats. I am looking forward to figuring out the weight and balance to install a nice sound system. It was so successful on the Hangar 9 1/4 scale Super Cub, I must do the same thing for the Beaver! For comparison, my H9 Super Cub came in at 18.6 lbs and is perfectly powered on the Power 110 and 8S batteries (LG, no floats).

Suspect you're right. My H9 PA-18 weighs almost 21 lbs with P160 on 10S. Should've gone P110 with much lighter 8S setup. Bet an 18 lb Beaver would fly nice on 8S. Cheers

Det vil passe!
The Evolution 35cc radial will fit, with the use of the 10mm prop extension. The firewall is not set up for this engine so some modeling is required, but it will fit inside the cowling. Craig |

Craig,
Will the Saito FG33-R3 fit within the cowl of this plane? |

Previewing the manual in advance of ordering kit, brings up a few questions -
1. Will installation of interior (seats, etc.) interfere with flight batteries (EP)? 2. Are recommended 80 oz servos strong enough for 17 lb airframe? 3. Any included provisions (channels, string, etc.) for mounting LED's? Cheers |
