Afaik this can only be used to convert Mavlink from ULRS to FrSky telemetry.

Nice work! I like your use of what looks like hard plastic tubing on the RG316 near the soldering point - gives you something solid to glue into the wing and stops the antenna from moving or rotating. I will definitely steal that idea

OK I finally made the step, and have connected my Pixhawk to the computer. I had it since maybe 2 years, but never even tried it as I was happy with the APM, and it was already installed in the plane.

So the thing is now blinking in all colors on my desk. But I can't remember where I've put all the cables, so I just was able to flash the most recent firmware and do some communication tests through USB.

- So I've got a first question : the Serial0 is configured to 19 (19200), so it seems that it will communicated over the USB at 19200 bauds.

I tried the same telemetry settings that I was using on APM (and on APM that gave about 1900 bytes per second). But on Pixhawk, for some reason it gives 2430 bytes per second, which seems impossible on a 19200 bauds link ?



edit : tried also with 1.3.41, same result. But the initial connection is so fast that I doubt it's really using 19200 bauds through USB. Normally this is what the SERIAL0 parameter is for : configure the speed when using USB.

OK thanks, what I wanted to check is it it's possible to run it at 19200 through USB. If I remember well, for APM it was possible, and slower than when using 115200 through USB.

It's just for testing purposes until I've hooked it up completely with ULRS.

Some users have reported problems in getting this to work.
Fault-finding is on-going, but for now there is no guarantee it will work in all systems.

Guide how I got it running also attached.

EDIT: Also tested connecting a HC-05 Bluetooth module in parallel. It's working very nicely together wih the converter.
EDIT_2: Updated Doc with Bluetooth connection.
EDIT_3: Added simple Lua-script. Remove the .txt extension and copy it to the Taranis SD-card folder /SCRIPTS/TELEMETRY
EDIT_4: Updated Doc and Hex-file for use with ULRS 2.33 and above

Please report any errors or improvements.
